Patient-centred care (PCC) improves outcomes, quality of care, and patient satisfaction while reducing costs. To move continence care from “cleaning up accidents” to PCC requires a simple concentrated effort to close knowledge gaps at the clinical level as well as with health aides and family caregivers. All that is missing is leadership from the top.
